Day 3# Simple Blouse Pattern (Part 1)

Today i feel so weak, burn and sleepy. Its not because the weather so hot. But, after first three days our body will live on its own substance. When the body deprived of nutrition, our body will burn and digest its own tissues by self digestion. First, it will decomposed and burn those cells and tissues which are diseased, damaged, aging or dead. That's one of the reason why fasting is good for our healthy.

So, for this Ramadhan tutorial project I'll share with you how to make your own simple blouse pattern. Its easy to make and also easy to sew.

The important thing to make your own pattern is you have to take measurements. And here how to take your own measurements. (source : Burda magazines)

figure 1.

I take size 44 on Burda measurements chart. We will make the bodice (both front and back side) and the sleeve one at the time.

Please look at figure 1 :

A - C1 = 6 to 7.5 cm
C1 - B = Shoulder width = 13
B - B1 = 4 cm
C1 - C2 = 0.5 cm
A - A1 = 0.5 cm
B1 - D2 = 0.5 cm
A - C = 7 to 8 cm
A - D = D - D1 = E - E1 =( bust/chest) /4 = 100/4 = 25 cm
A - E = Blouse length = 65 - 75 cm
E1 - E2 = 5 -10 cm (depend how width your blouse)
B1 - F = D2 - F = Sleeve length = 61 for long sleeve or 20 -22 for short sleeve
F - F1 = 1/2 x upper arm width = 1/2 x 31 = 15.5 cm

You can also make sleeve pattern separately.

A - B = (1/2 upper arm width) - 3
B - B1 = (1/4 upper arm width) -1
A - C = Sleeve length = 61
C- D = 1/2 upper arm width
A - A1 = A2 - B1 = 1/4 AB1

Tomorrow, I'll show you how to make this pattern with real measurements. Have a great day !
