Day 6# Cat's Tongue cookies

Owh no...what's wrong with my cat's tongue??? HHmmm they are so crispy, crunchy, golden in color, sweet and yummmy. For French, they called it 'langues de chat' is a flat sweet finger shaped biscuit. It supposed to be light, airy and melt on the mouth. I attempt twice to find the right composition between sugar, white eggs and flour. A good quality of butter, is the secret to make your cat's tongue crispy and crunchy.
And here is the recipe i want to share with you.

The ingredients you need are:

150 gram icing sugar, 220 g butter, 30 g margarine, 200 ml white eggs, 300 g flour, 1/4 tsp salt, you can add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.

Instruction :

Preheat oven to 170 degree Celsius.
Put butter, margarine, salt, and icing sugar on the bowl
.

Mix until white and creamy

Add in white eggs gradually

Beat with medium speed untill mixed well

Add in flour gradually

Beat with low speed until all flour mixed well

Smear the mold with butter

Put the batter on the piping bag

Cutting the edges

Pipe the batter into the mold. Bake to 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown and still spongy when pressed with finger.

  4. of course, you can reduce the butter. you can also subtitute the butter with margarine. margarine has low calorie than butter. And you can reduce the sugar.
