Photocakes decoration

Last thursday i came to 'hands on demo photocakes decoration' program. Its nice, i have something new to learn. Cake decorating become more easier. Unlimited creativity in decorating cakes.

You can put your own picture on a cake and on chocolate lolipop.



It will more easier to design, if you can operate 'photoshop' or 'corel draw'. Compatible printer recommended was canon IP series like IP 3600 and IP 4700. You also need compatible food cartridges as well as set edible ink. You are not recommended using edible ink in in a printer that has previously been used with regular ink cartridges, even you try to cleaned it because it was contaminated and the cake can not eat.

Having Fun with Yubiami

Yubiami known as finger knitting, is a simple form of knitting. As its name, the knitting uses hands during the entire proces. You don't need tools or needles, just uses your hand.



Its fun and joyful. You can do it with your children or you can do yubi ami while you're watching television, coz its easy to do. Lucky i am, that i can do it with my students. I can share fun and joy with them.

You can create anything you want. Flowers, pencil case, handphone case, hat, animal, handle, blouse and even blanket. All you need is your hand and yarn. Discovering how to finger knitting can be a pleasant surprise.

Folded Ribbon Roses

Its almost a month i'm not write and post something, its because something block my mind. No idea to write. Lucky i'm that i still have motivation to do something. Going around, see how other people life make me feel grateful.

Be grateful for ths hand, i have complete fingers that i can use to do something and share to others. Be grateful for this eyes that i can use to see anything, to see how beautiful this world is and hoe colorful my life is. And i want to share it with you.

See how beautiful roses are inspiring me to make folded ribbon roses. i use one inch ribbon . To make one bud i need 75 cm long of ribbon.

Then i try to make bud from cotton fabric. But i had to cut the fabric into small pieces. I cut into 3 cm width to 75 cm long, depend on how big bd you want to made.


And the bud was no less beautiful than the bud from ribbon. Its beautiful, i really lobe this roses.

Angga's B'day Cake

We're celebrate angga's b'day last sunday. Angga is a son of my friend. He is two years old baby boy. And i promise to make a b'day cake for him.


He was so excited to celebrate his b'day. Look, he was very happy to blow out the candle


I made a black forest cake then covered by chocolate ganache. First layer, i smeared with blueberry jam, second layer smeared with blueberry jam and whipped cream, and last, i smeared all the cakes with whipped cream before i coated by chocolate ganache


Angga helped me to give ideas to decorate this cake. He likes balloon. He also like fish..look its like flying fish on the cake. He laughed, when i draw a funny baby boy. And ARC is his initial name for Anggaraksa Rizky Chandra. Its really nice when we can shared our happiness to others.

Purple Laptop Case

This is my first laptop case. I sew it yesterday in a hurry, coz i wanna used it that day. I used imitation leather as a material, combine with my polka dot jappanese cotton fabric. Inside it, i used dacron as a layer. My sister buy this leather at Cibaduyut. Cibaduyut is a center of shoes industry in Bandung. There, we could find anykind of shoes and we could also buy the material, such as leather, imitation leather, dacron, etc.



I made a mistake on the construction, actually. I should made a pattern first, before cutting; measure the right dimenstion, made a pattern, then sew. The mistaken part was at zip. I did not measure ths part correctly. I forgot to overstates the stitches on the left and right. That's why this part was tight and hard to zip.




This was another mistake that i made. I put the cover sideways, coz i'm not put a mark at the place where i will put the cover, both right and left.






And i put this decoration sideways too. HHhh..i'm really not satisfied with my work this time. But i'm not give up, i'll make another laptop case next time, with good planning and good time. This time i learned a lot in sewing technique, especially how to sew zip on a bag. Next time, i'll sew it properly.

New jappanese cotton collection

What a wonderful saturday, i can go with my mom to Pasar Baru. Its was a big traditional market in Bandung, but now its growing become a modern market. There are eight floor, and each floor sell deifferent stuff. Textile was on second and third foor.

My mom helped me to choose the design. And loo what we got :

Polka dot collection

I've got black, red, green, yellow, pink, blue and chocolate polka dot. And i love the chocolate one

Jappanese look collection

I love the red and black one. The red one had a prada around the edges. And the balck one is so jappanese. I love it. Its nice if you wanna sew a kimono

Stars and spring collection

This, stars and spring collection. Its like our mom, who always bring the spring in our lifes.

As always, i buy half meter each, then cut into small pieces. You know, i've got twenty three motifs've got black, red, green, yellow, pink, blue and chocolate polka dot. And i love the chocolate one. I sell it at tobucil. And of course i keep one each as my collection.
